With a tight and fast mixing style, Philly's sets are packed full of energy and seriously dirty tunes. He regularly provides the closing set at Sinistry events and this gives him the opportunity to showcase his other musical preference... Gabber!!!

BIOGRAPHY

After getting into the Hard Dance scene in 2005, Philly quickly discovered the sounds of the Nu Energy Collective and this inspired him to buy his first pair of decks in 2007. With a love for the harder nature of Hardcore on offer, It's this Freeform sound that dominates his sets today, with influences coming from artists such as Eryk Orpheus, Ephexis, Alex Szhala and Oli G.

A keen follower of the new European Hardcore sound since 2008, you can always bank on hearing songs from artists such as Tha Playah, Neophyte and Evil Activities towards the end of a set from Philly! In 2010, he's had the opportunity to play Gabber sets at Sinistry:Elevation and closing the 2nd room at Octane and Squelcher in asociation with Sinistry.

If he continues in the form he showed in 2009, 2010 will be a huge year for Sinistry's Freeform Resident!!!

*FACT* - Philly was nearly chucked out of Sinistry's Freeform showcase after refusing to stop playing records when the bouncers decided to try and close the club 15 minutes early. The look on the face of the bouncers as Philly dropped "Rotterdam Nightmare" was priceless and will always be remembered by all the Sinners who stuck around to see his set!!!
